I’m a physician who is board-certified in both general psychiatry, and child and adolescent psychiatry, to treat mental health conditions. I work with people throughout the life course.

A strengths-based approach informs my focus on mental health and wellbeing as well as illness. Given that 50 percent of mental disorders develop by age 14, and 75 percent by age 24, I believe it is my unique privilege to help young people and families through challenges of childhood, adolescence and young adulthood.

Inclined to a practical, person-centered perspective, I seek to understand each person’s culture, family and life experiences, personal preferences, and spiritual and religious influences as important sources of identity.
