Mentorship, Teaching and Scholarship
Mentorship, formal and informal, of the next generation of mental health care providers, teachers and researchers is a privilege and responsibility. I help to prepare frontline care workers and program leaders in the emerging post-COVID era to develop new kinds of programs and collaborations to effectively address the psychological and psychiatric impacts of climate change and other complex crises. I teach undergraduate and graduate students, clinical trainees, and front-line care and program implementers from a wide range of backgrounds and disciplines across university, hospital and global health delivery programs. I contribute to scholarship in psychiatry, global and public health and social medicine.
